Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Karibu Tanzania! (Welcome to Tanzania!) Upon arrival in Arusha, your private Ihana Safaris guide will greet you. Settle into your family-friendly lodge, and get a good night's rest before your adventure begins.
Day 2: Arusha National Park
Your safari starts gently yet excitingly in Arusha National Park. Enjoy a game drive, spotting giraffes and zebras, and perhaps even playful colobus monkeys. Later, participate in a hands-on beading workshop with local artisans.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Venture into Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Our guides will share fun wildlife facts designed to spark your children's curiosity.
Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
Get ready for the heart of the action! Two days in the iconic Serengeti allow you to witness the vastness of the plains and thrilling wildlife encounters. Attend a special wildlife behavior session for kids, where they can learn about animal tracks and predator-prey relationships.
Day 6: Cultural Experience and Ngorongoro Crater
Spend the morning immersed in Tanzanian culture. Visit a local school or a Maasai village, interact with the community and learn about their traditions. In the afternoon, begin your journey towards the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Descend into this wildlife haven! Spot lions, zebras, and hippos in this enclosed ecosystem. Enjoy a special conservation workshop designed for children and parents, where you'll learn about protecting this unique environment.
Day 8: Departure
After a final Tanzanian breakfast, bid farewell to the savanna. You'll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, carrying stories, new knowledge, and a deeper connection to both the wild world and each other.
