On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, meet our representative who will transfer you to Planet Lodge in Arusha, a small and charming lodge at the foot of Mount Meru. Rooms are located in the tropical garden, offering a micro climate in the daytime. Later, our safari manager will come for a safari briefing before leaving you to relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.

Your safari driver guide will meet you at the lobby and then your 10-day Tanzania honeymoon safari to Zanzibar beach holiday will begin. You will drive via Arusha city, so if you have any last minute parches, please ask your driver. Then depart Arusha city for Tarangire National Park, highlighted by a large elephant population found nowhere else on earth.

The park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley and it is characterized by small hills and low land dominated by acacia woodland and baobab trees that dwarf the same animal species that live beneath it. The Tarangire River & swamps are the only permanent sources of water in the entire park, supporting a large number of animal species, which includes herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippos, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and many more.

This park is also home to three rare species of Greater Kudu: fringe-eared oryx, and ash stalling. Tarangire is the bird’s paradise. Over 400 bird species have been recorded here, which include ostriches, secretary birds, ibises, herons, pelicans, and many more. In the afternoon, drive to Lake Eyasi & visit the Datoga tribe & the blacksmith. In the late afternoon, you can walk to the lake shore for sunset.

On this day you will go for an early morning hunt with Bushman, including a tuition on survival skills. The Bushman are an indigenous tribe in this area who hunt and gather fruits, eggs, tubers, and some herbs, similar to Stone Age people. you will go back to the camp for a full breakfast and then depart for Ngorongoro Crater. The drive will be along the farmlands of Karatu up to the gate. After checking in, you will drive up and around the crater rim. Stop at the crater view point for some nice pictures.

Then descend 600 meters to the crater floor for some fantastic game viewing (a picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor).Ngorongoro Crater is often defined as one of the eight world wonders. The crater was formed millions of years ago by internal forces and sank after the eruption, leaving a 600-meter-high wall.Today it is the world’s largest unfolded volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations, and it is here where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural habitat. You can expect to spot wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, hippos, black rhinos, and the African elephant.

The picturesque crater has a dense population of predators which includes lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and the ever-illusion leopard, which needs binoculars to spot. Later, drive out and overnight at Rhino Lodge on the rim of the crater.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, Africa’s number one safari destination. The Serengeti is among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites with a high diversity of wildlife. Every year, the world phenomenon known as “The Great Wildebeest Migration” takes place in the Serengeti.Packed lunch will be served at Naabi Hill gate or at the kopjes (rock outcroppings) in the Serengeti. After lunch and some rest, drive to Serengeti, where you will look for the wildebeest migration. You can expect to see herds of wildebeest, zebra, elephant, buffalo, and occasionally prides of lions and other predators.Reach the camp before or during the sunset.

On this day of your honeymoon safari to Zanzibar, we take you for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, and if you wish, you can begin with an early morning game drive. Leave the camp with your breakfast box and lunch box. Early morning game drives allow you to spot nocturnal predators coming back from hunting, sometimes a group of lionesses organizing a morning ambush. Most of the cats’ family spend the morning time on the road playing to avoid the morning mist. Afterward, break for breakfast in the bush and move on with your game drive.

Your driver is in-touch with other drivers through radio calls, so he knows where to take you this morning if it will be time for wildebeest. Migration in the morning, you will drive straight to where the actions are taking place. You may expect some fighting, hunting, killing, and so on. In the afternoon, you can have your picnic lunch at Soronera picnic site or elsewhere in the bush. After lunch and some rest, you can pay a visit to the Seronera Visitor’s Center for some wonderful documentaries about Serengeti National Park. embarking on your game drive and returning back to your camp for sunset.

Alternatively, on this day you can have 2 hours of Serengeti Balloon Safari (at an extra cost). It starts early in the morning at 6:30. Afterward, your driver will meet you at the landing point and proceed with a game drive till sunset.

After breakfast, start your drive to Soronera air strip, en route game driving until you reach the air strip and fly to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar on the North East beaches of Zanzibar. Dinner and breakfast are included.

Tanzania Honeymoon Safari for 10 DaysZanzibar beach allows you to spend three days relaxing and swimming in the clear Indian Ocean water.If you wish, you can organize some water sports with your hotel.

Dinner and overnight at Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar on the north-east beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach-Stone Town

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, leave for Stone Town (Option). En route, you can do the famous spice tour, which includes Zanzibar dishes (See Zanzibar Island tours & excursion). Reach Stone Town in the afternoon. Check in at Tembo House hotel in the front part of Stone Town. You can relax at the hotel or take a short walk along the narrow lines of the stone town.

We transfer you to the airport for your flight back home after breakfast at your hotel, depending on your departure time. If you arrive late, you can take a guided stone town tour or walk until your flight departs.
